Canadian policymakers are taking action to fight perceived threats of climate change with the long-term goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
To meet this goal, Canada Energy Regulator aims to leverage technological innovation coupled with solid measures as outlined in its recent report Canada’s Energy Future 2021: Energy Supply and Demand Projections to 2050 (EF2021).
“Climate action can’t wait,” said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the COP26 summit in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. “Since 2015, Canada has been a committed partner in the fight against climate change, and as we move to a net-zero future, we will continue to do our part to cut pollution and build a cleaner future for everyone. Together, we will beat this crisis while creating a green economy and new middle class jobs for Canadians.”

The benefits of LEDs extend beyond reduced carbon emissions.
Did you know that LEDs provide better lighting quality that benefits both the body and mind?
LEDs are highly customizable to provide alternative colour warmer temperatures that offer numerous advantages that include:
• Better circadian rhythm alignment that regulates our internal biological “clock” for better sleep and improved metabolism
• Advanced controls that adjust temperatures according to the time of the day and function of the room
• Dimming switches and sensors that save more energy when lighting is not needed
• Increased residential and commercial property value
Thinking about changing those harsh fluorescent and inefficient incandescent bulbs? If so, then take advantage of the advanced technology of LEDs for a wide variety of benefits that improve health, save money, and help the planet!
